Symptoms of agoraphobia / panic attacks
/ anxiety / hyperventilation
The symptoms of panic, anxiety and hyperventilation
attacks include (but are not limited to):
- Pounding heart
- Shortness of breath
- Dizziness
- Lightheadedness
- Nausea
- Nervousness
- Bowel problems
- ...
These symptoms are a result of fear.
See, there's something that gives you the first body
symptoms: too much caffein, nervous thinking, having
slept too little,...
These things can for instance increase your heart
rate. You hear that, and think: Oh my, I'm having
a heart attack. Adrenalin comes into play, and your
symptoms increase. You get more frightened, get more
adrenaline in your blood as a result, and things get
worse again...
The biggest problem is you loose faith in yourself
and you body. You become insecure, get a low self
esteem and start to think too much about what others
think of you.
And that's where things go bad. The moment where
the opinion of others is too valuable to you, you
start to fear and analyse your every move. "What
will they think if I do this, what will they think
if I do that" and so on.
This is very likely to create agoraphobia in you.

articles and read about the opinion
of others about you.
